What is it with some people that think that when you are over 20... or 30 that any physical activity is strictly to get you in shape and no longer can be fun? I mean, jogging may do it for some people, but for me it's just pure torture!

Road bikes are transportation - not fun (sorry to those who enjoy).

But, give me a bmx and some pavement and I can ride for hours, sweat a gallon of water off and have a ton of fun. Why would I want to do anything else at 33 that would be 'mature'. Mature is stupid if having no fun is what it means.

I always laugh when someone says "I'm really into sports." Then when you ask them what sports they play they respond "Oh no, I don't play, I watch them." WTF is that?!?

no doubt. the saddest people i see are the ones who couldn't run to catch a bus if their life depended on it, but they could give you any baseball or football statistic from the last 10 years.

I'm with bmxtrix on this one. I'm 34, ride a bmx bike and some cross country mountain bike. I ride with two guys who do bmx jumps and street. one is 38 and rips. the other is 50 and isn't bad either.

there is no age limit on fun.

The BMX is probaby the only bicycle that would make me red faced. I just don't have the guts to ride them because this bike is usually associated with someone in their teens and eary twenties. I find myself often wishing I was ten years younger but you can't turn back the clock. If there were other people in their thirties who ride them it wouldn't be so bad. For you guys and girls over 30 who have no trouble, all the power to you. Unfortunately, I'll just stick to regular bikes.

bmx is regular.

your only as young as you feel. maybe you should get a "little kids bike" and start the backwards aging process.

Those who say there is no fountain of youth have not been on a bmx bike in way to long.

I will put up some pictures on my 35th birthday to show what the fountain looks like.

Old people on little bikes? Oh damn I'm old too! Who cares ,I live on an army base full of people on road bikes and I'd say I'm better off without one. I go to work and hear them talk "I rode 20 miles yesterday by myself it was great" what kind of bike do you ride? when I tell them they joke and laugh but they can't do a 360 Table top or manuel or bunny hop or do anything but wear spandex now what's cool? Then they freak out when I eat candy and chips with non-diet coke for lunch. Oh my god I have sinned! Ah to hell with 'em. If it feels good do it!
