learning 180's
ive been trying 180's for about 2 months and still cant get them i bunny hop about 2 feet and i only get about 90 degrees so can sum1 give me some tips
okay. this i know. it took me about 4 months to hop 180. you must just do what your doing to get 90s, but kick the back out more. you must just twist with more force. give yourself time. goodluck
thanks ill try
(say you grind to the left) Just wind up for it mentally, just before you take off slam your head around to the right lean to the right and turn, the split second you start to turn HOP!! Kick out your tail to the left and land backwards. Try to keep it level but let the back wheel stray slightly down to the ground. If you grind to the right just do the opposite.
Hope this helps you, it took me about a week trying it solid :) |
oh and its all about the HEAD!! forget anything else, if your head dont spin then nor do you. It should be a natural reaction when your head is turn'd back and you hop :D
try them down steps, you'll have to get it or eat it, so it will help you.
try to lern kick outs and g-turns . get used to whipping the back in the air .bunnyhop and keep your head rotating the way you are spinning and whip the back to finish your spin

if your going to go that extravagant and try a set, DONT! do it of a curb not a flight of stairs ok ok, the computer screen is him, and the hammer is the floor, OBSERVE :crash: |
ive been tryin 180s recently too. the head thing might work, but i dont use it. I use a halfpipe or a really steep incline. Try fufanus. Im still trying those with no success.
The head definatly DOES work. using inclines's does work to a certain degree but only works for incline's. On flat is a completely different concept. use incline's at first its alot easyer, but some time you will need to transfer that skill onto flat. Thats when you have to start using your head.

its when you have your front wheel on the ground and you whip your back wheel around 180 degrees, and you ride fakie.without brakes
oh. like half a rockwalk, yeah? look, about riding fakie, does anyone have tips on perfecting it, or is it one of those things where you just have to practise?
practice practice practice. it just like riding a bike realy, just backwards. but do try to pedal backwards faster than you are travaling. if you let the hub grip your cranks, you pedal backwards with the bike real slow and lose your balance.
oh. okay. i was doing the s-l-o-w backward pedalling. as in s--s--l--s--o--o--w--w
yea riding backwards needs a lot of balance, put u need to pedal fast...i still cant doo it more than 5 feet
lol, try abit faster but not franticly fast or you will just look silly
ill try to balance the franticness
how are the woman in SA? I saw some white models there and they were bangin! Minki Vansomething...
i can rollback about 20 ft now,my freecoaster helps me alot
180s must be easy on a freecoaster... can they take the abuse of streetriding or any they mostly for flatland?
