Jumping help :O

Hello, i need some help like jumping on dirt jumps :O. First problem is that every time i jump i end up nosediving really bad for some reason :O and the second problem is that i just cant even figure out how to jump high lol

Are you bunnyhopping off the lip? That would be a huge help. Even just pulling up on the bars off the lip and going a bit faster.

if you are nosediving then lean back some

could you post a picture of the jump? a badly proportioned jump could be bucking you causing you to land nose-dived... usually beginners dont have the problem of nosediving as much as looping out on their back tire.

well it really has no lip at all lol, but my friends can air out of it so high :O and that is also a problem i have, sometimes when i land my back tire goes down so fast it looks like im trying to hop into a manual

A lot of getting good at dirt jumping is just getting comfortable with the jump, with your bike, or just jumping in general. You're going to eat it a bunch of times, that's a given. Anyone who dirt jumps and says they never crashed a lot is full of it. Just keep working at it, it'll come to you and you'll feel a lot more confident about jumping in general. Like fuzz said, lean back a little more and don't put pressure on your bars because it will obviously push your front end down.

Being comfortable with the jump and bike is first priority.

Push in, lift off and keep the front wheel up.

I've crashed, it sucks but don't fear crashing, it's going to happen. Just remember, if you are not crashing, you are not trying.
