Anyone Race with 175mm cranks?
Hi does anyone race Bmx and use 175mm cranks instead of 180mm cranks? I have a cycling background and when looking at cycling in general it doesnt make sense to me to run 180mm cranks on a bmx.

i run 175mm cranks, but i have a rather short 28 inch inseam. most people taller than me run 180mm. long cranks should be used on bmx race bikes because bmx racing is mostly about explosive power. you need the leverage provided by a longer crank.
