Chain half links
I have a Wipperman Pro chain and I need a half link for it. So do I need a half link that is made just for a wipperman pro or will any 1/8 half link work with it.

I don't see a chain called the "Pro" anywhere on their site; are you talking about that stupid "1G8" 22mm chain? If so, you'll never find a half link that'll fit that; even Wipperman doesn't make one for it.

Unless you're doing dozens of sprocket chunks everyday on street, you'll never need a chain that strong. I run I've KMC 510HX, and I've broken it a total of one time in nine months, and half the grinds and stalls I do are on the sprocket.

So it's stupid because it's strong? That's the stupidest thing I have ever heard.

It is stupid if you dont need it... its 23.6 ounces when an average chain is like 10. That's rediculous. It's really stupid. I had a kink fat boy for like two years and I did crappy sprocket stalls like every day and it took me that long to realize I didnt need the chain. The whipperman is stupid strong. No one needs it. If you allready have that chain, then keep it and be happy you will probably never need to buy another chain, but if you havent bought one yet, theres no reason to get it. There is certainly a such thing as too strong, its just unecisary. But like I said, if you allready have it, its not stupid, enjoy it.

Well know I know that I have a chain to stand up to sprocket chunks, but I need a sprocket that won't bend either. I need either a 43T or 44T. I was looking at the Snafu Chunk or the Animal A-1. Do any of you have any opinions?
