2013 Kink launch

Hi, I use to BMX when i was really young and now i want to get back into it. I saw this 2013 Kink Launch for a decent price and i was thinking about buying it. Anyone know about this brand and model?

I would pass on that one. Kink makes some really nice stuff, but you'll have to spend more to get a quality bike. The Launch has a hi-ten frame, which is the opposite of ideal. You want to get the most chromoly possible because its just as strong as hi-ten, but it has thinner tubing so its lighter.

Well, you must know i'm an entry level BMX rider and i'm not trying to get the strongest or lightest bike on the market. I have seen a few other bikes in that price range like the 13' Subrosa Altus, 12' United Recruit RN1, 12' Verde Cadet, Eon, and Prism, 12' Stolen Casino, 12' Sunday Spark, 12' Cult cc-oo, Most Black Eye's, 12' Premium Subway, and the '12 Kink Gap. However, the Kink Launch seems to be the lightest and one of my cheapest choices. Many options, and all the time to choose one.

Being a beginner, getting something strong is the absolute best thing you can do. You'll need something to stand up to the learning process, so that you're not out buying a new ****ty frame every month or two. The learning process is often harsh, because steeze/flow/smoothness don't just happen over night, its a long process. My riding is still sketchy, and I've had a BMX bike between my legs since I was 12 (admittedly, not quite as much as I'd like to though in the last year or two. Damn you college)

I remember hitting 15 foot gaps built out of wood when i was 10 years old, It's more about getting back into BMX. I might be a beginner for only a few weeks im not sure.

What style are you looking to ride though? And you'll still want to get something good and strong, because I'm going to assume that you're a lot bigger now than you were when you were 10. So you have to compensate for that.
