Can i use a mountain bike frame as a bmx ?

I actually have a bmx specialised fuse 2 , but i think it's way to heavy , but i have a limited budget ( less than 170 pound (very limited )) :) .
I'm thinking of changing the frame , and i found this frame :

And i wanted to know if i would be able to put the weels and everithing to be able to go the a skatepark ...
Because it only do "Lightweight 1654g" ( yes it's not a lot )

If you put 20's on that thing, the geometry will be really wack. Besides, it has vertical dropouts which make tensioning a chain pretty much impossible, and you don't want to be doing a lot of tricks and such on an alu frame. It'll snap faster than a wishbone on Thanksgiving.

So how could i have a lighter bmx by modify my fuse 2 ( who does about 12 kg) ?

Well, for starters, it doesn't sound like you have a lot of cash to do so. And lighter parts cost money. So, I say step one would be to follow Rule #5, and HTFU. Not trying to be a dick or come off as an *******, but thats the best way to go about it.

I started out with a bike that weighed around 30 lbs (~13 kg), and that is how you should really learn. Don't start upgrading until you know what it is that you want out of your bike, and have the money to afford quality parts.

Wouldn't really work like that. A MTB frame needs 26" wheels to make the geometry work right in that respect. He was talking about putting 20"s on there. Which would mean he would still be standing, on a bike that didn't handle properly at all. So its completely pointless.

There are single speed Mountain Bikes , same thing.. stick with the wheel size the frame was designed for.

for the skate park : Dont be Cheap, or it will cost More.

buy a bike made around the small wheels and being strong enough to survive that level of Abuse.

I've bever seen a fixie MTB, could you post some? Should be something.

FTFY stands for fixed that for you. And building up that white frame SS would be a real pain in the ass. Sure, it could be done, but with those vertical dropouts, the second your chain breaks in and stretches even a little, your tension will be jacked, and damn near impossible to fix. Especially since the chain will continue to stretch throughout its life, making it a constant battle to keep it tensioned properly.
