Anyone used one of these (Bully Impulse)

I was browsing Danscomp, and I found this bike there:

https://www.danscomp.com/cgi-bin/haze...IL&item=101446

The 'Bully Impulse'. Seems like a fairly good deal for the price, but what about the quality of the frame? Has anyone here ridden one of these, or heard anything about this company?

I could buy a bike locally, but I think all that are available here are Specialized, GT, Haro and Schwinn.
One shop here specializes in BMX, and I'll have them put the bike together if I buy it online.

Just checking out my options. GT's seem alright, but I think I remember the top tubes were awful short, and coming from a MTB, a small bike would probably feel unstable...

I'm just about ready to buy a bike (whenever I decide which I want). I'd like to stay under $300, but the offerings get so awesome at and over $400
Maybe I should learn to do some tricks and crap before I spend too much on a new bike, lol

Sounds decent to me. I didn't even know that Bully was still in business, though.

They made pretty good frames, though.

ive never rode an impusle but i came very close to buying that exact bike. its a great deal. if it suits you get it. i didnt only because i decided a wanted4 pegs and a front brake and it doesnt come with one. gt makes good bikes, but yes, some of their top tops are quite small.

It seems like a good bike to me too. It has a few heat-treated parts, a 36 hole wheelset, three-peice crankset (always nice), a flip-flop hub (good customization there), and a decent frame. That frame is better than mine and I've had no problems with mine (yet), so that should work just fine for you. Now as long as you don't mind not having a front brake then, yeah I'd say it looks pretty good. And if Beerman says it looks 'decent' then I go with it.

Is the flip flop hub on that a fixed gear on one side, and freewheel on the other? Or is it just a different size cog on the other side? Or a third option, heh

I might get that, I'll probably print that out and ask what the BMX shop here thinks of it.
