Alright, I got my new Macneil Miron frame yesterday, and I took my Stock Haro F3 apart yesterday. Then today I've finally put my bike back together with my new Macneil Miron frame instead of that old stock Haro one. It's awesome feeling and lookin'. I'll try to put some pics on my website as soon as I can. I love the geometry of the new frame. It feels so much more solid and better than my other one did. It also is much much stiffer and stronger 'cause it's all cromo with heat-treated headtube, bottom bracket, and dropouts. It is a little harder to manual because I think (but I'm not sure) that it is a 2003 model, so it's a little longer in the rear triangle than most, but I still really like it. It's also a little heavy too because it's an older model, but I still really like it. Just thought I'd let everyone know.
PS: I want to say a big thank-you to everyone that helped me with my questions on how to put stuff together, it really helped me. I think I did a pretty good job too, especially since it was the first time in my life that I've ever taken apart a bike and put it back together. I'm pretty sure I did it all right too. Thanks again!

you should get a sprocket compatible with a bash guard. that should be your priority. then get some good wheels and pegs that slide. i would recommend kink. don't get snafu hex pegs.

That sounds like some good ideas queensrider, thanks. I was thinking about maybe going down to like a 33-12 gearing combination or something similiar just to save weight and make stuff smaller, ya' know? I don't think I want to go down to 25-9 , because that looks a little small for me. But I'm not sure on that. And you the Kink pegs are good? Are those the Kink Light pegs? And also, what sprocket and guard combo would any of you guys (including you queens) recomend that's good and strong? Thanks!

the tree sprocket is probably the strongest one.i'm not sure if they are available at dans

No, I don't want people to list the strongest sprocket on the market, I want peoples recomendations of good sprocket and guard combos that are strong and reliable. What would you suggest?

get the Macneil sprocket with the built in gaurd the one-piece thing.... its cool and looks good

there is no need for a guard that goes all the way around. the fbm seems good

Well, if some people would actually have some patience I would be able to get some pictures sometime. Gosh, don't wet yourself. And I'd rather be out testing it instead of posting pictures of it. I said I'd post some pictures on my website and I will whenever I can. I will not be posting them here. So just see if you can wait awhile, huh?

i don't know how pegs can have lifetime warranties. i have gone through about 3 pairs of kink pegs so far

I wasn't going to post the link until I had some more done on it but everyone seems to be anxious about something so there you are. Just a warning though, I havn't been able to get hardly any work done on it at all so it doesn't have much on it. It's still pretty cool though, at least to me. I made all of the background images in paint. I know I'll probably get some insults about it sucking or something of the sort, but I'm prepared for it. And the reason I underlined 'website' is because I wanted to be sure everyone knew that I wasn't going to post the pics here. That's all.

Fly, if I might make a suggestion...
Complicated backgrounds tend to be kind of distracting when I'm trying to read text, it draws the viewers eye away.
- That image is cute, but if you can present your artwork more subtly before getting into the pages with lots of text, its usually best.
The trick tips section is nice, but you might look into a darker background color with a light font, and possibly a san-serif font for the text.
On the 'maintenance' page, the image you chose has the 'danscomp' text all over it. They realized people would use their images in pages, and put the text so viewers would know where it comes from. If possible, use an image of your own, or give a disclaimer at the bottom (Image courtesy of Dan's Competition).
I haven't actually read through the maintenance section, but long blocks of text tend to turn people off from reading pages like that. Try to get some diagrams going, maybe some tables, bullet points, PARAGRAPHS (!!!).
The site will be nice, but it could use a bit of polishing up if you're not tired of working on it.

Ok, cool man, thanks for the suggestions. The reason why the maintenance section is so long is because dialing in your brakes and getting them to work perfectly can take some detailed explaining, thus the length of the tip on my site. I'm not exactly sure how to sum it up, but if I get an idea I'll try to use it. I know!! I could write the short summed-up version right above the lengthy one, and then say something like "If you want more details on this tip, read the section bellow" . That would work I think.
