Huh, that's funny, I was thinking about starting a thread like this....

Well, I don't always have access to music whenever I ride, or else sometimes I just want to use what precious time I have to ride my bike to just ride! But, when I do listen to music I love these bands (groups):

*Breaking Benjamin (probably my very favorite)

*Linkin Park (most likely even with Benjamin)

*Three Days Grace

Earshot

Chevelle

Crossfade

Evanessense (sometimes I like the sound of her voice )

Papa Roach (they're pretty good, not a favorite though)

Nickel Back (they're pretty good also, but again, not a favorite)

Kid Rock

I think that that's all I can think of at the moment, the ones with the * symbol are my top favorites (Benjamin being my very favorite) and they are also the ones that get me the most pumped. Sometimes I'm just listening to the radio and I hear a song I like but I don't know who's doing it, so I can't list those. But, I think that's about it.

Holy crap. Can you say "I have bad taste in music"?

At the moment, I'm going to say that my favorite thing to listen to right now is Steve Vai's The Seventh Song: Enchanting Guitar Melodies; "Boston Rain Melody" is so damn good that it can make a man cry.

I mostly listen to hiphop like;
Bone thugs -N- harmony
Jedi mind tricks
Brotha lynch hung
Mos def
Immortal Technique
Q-Tip... etc.

I also like dutch rap like;
DuvelDuvel
VSOP
Opgezwolle
D.A.C.
Kas... etc.

That's basicly the music I listen to most when I'm on the bike. When I go streeting I don't often take my mp3player with me, I'd rather talk to my buddys and actually hear them.

Back when I was a BMXer I took my boom box and tapes by the Dead Milkmen, Public Image Limited, the Cure, etc. Later it was Helmet and maybe even Smashing Pumpkins, and various stufff I'd pick up at local shows.

Mind you this was '87 to '91 or '92.

Cheers,
Ben Adrian

Dude, don't just go around and dis people and what they like. You shouldn't just say that someone has a bad taste in music just because you don't like it. Most of the time I just turn on the radio and tune into the Rock, and listen, it's not like I go out and buy all of these bands albums.

Oh the irony...

**** listening to music when/before you ride. Suicidal tendencies has been known to make me do some very stupid things.

It's a scientifically proven fact that Linkin Park - to take just one example of your favorite bands - is bad music. It was proven by Eman Laerton in the Summer of 2004.

He quit Frank Zappa's band. I figure that's a bad idea.

Music is taste, trend, and opinions. Hell, I used to ride to the Smiths!
