The new Staind album. Back to their heavy, moshing, head-banging, teen angst roots. Awesome from start to finish.

Hardy,

Saw them do that at the Electric Factory in Philly in 1969.

I have an ipod shuffle that i turn off with a push-click when i am entering an intersection, passing people (just in case verbal communication is of the essence), or anytime a situation deams it necessary.

It seems to be the studio version. I got an email from Rhino Handmade about a new archival Iron Butterfly release. Got me back to cranking out their stuff I do have..

I got to thinking Fun House is basically a sped up In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida.

Lately I've been playing the Wylde Ratttz' version, it seems to push all the edges to make Fun House rowdier than the Stooges did the 1st time (the WR'z included the Asheton Bros and Mike Watt, and maybe even Steve Mackay, before the recent Stooges reincarnation)

and pt 2

Late reply, but...I love Puddle of Mudd. Seen them twice in concert, and they were great. They put on a really good show. My wife got a pick from the bass player when they played at House of Blues in Boston.

Not so old:
Robert Plant and Allison Kraus Raising Sand
somehow I can't stop listening to this.
