Cigarettes After Sex
I was a bit surprised there's no mention of them on here.

It's my happy music.
Waiting for a 6 speed freewheel to arrive in the post box.

I'm still pretty bummed Eric Wagner died a couple months ago. Been listening to a lot of Trouble & The Skull lately.

Now it is becoming very popular to return to the musical hits of the 90s.

When We Were Kings by Brian McKnight and Diana King. Used in the soundtrack for the 1997 documentary about Muhammad Ali and The Rumble in the Jungle with George Foreman.

An interesting a cappella cover of this song by Bates College Crosstones - Senior Concert.

I've been on an Allan Holdsworth live binge lately, checking out all the youtube videos of his various bands performing from ~1986-2017. Lots of awesome music -- I would argue that there is not and has never been a guitarist who combines such copious and mind-boggling physical technique with such musically sopisticated ears and scope such that the former is not just used as an athletic show-off, but rather to enhance and express the latter.
Also lots of surprisingly crappy video quality.
But occasionally you get a show where the band and the videographer were firing on all cyclinders:

Stumbled on this oddball band. They have their own tuning system, and a developed music theory to go with it. This recording is great on headphones.

Stephan Thelen: electric tritone guitar

Bernhard Wagner: electric tritone guitar
Christian Kantner: electric tritone bass
Manuel Pasquinelli: drums
