The original Battlestar Galactica 9/10. Disappointing it was discontinued and netflix doesn't offer the first 3 episodes of Galactica 1980 on instant play.

Yes, I missed most of the first season. The second season was quite good I just wish there wasn't such a long wait for the next episode - next month.

Green Wing : 9.5/10
If you want the perfect 10, watch the english Office or the Extras from the same directors. It will make you a more wise, happy and content individual. Guaranteed
These 3 are my favorites. I haven't watch a single series since then because Ι can't find a witty one remotely similar in quality with those great threes.

NCIS, 9.5/10.
2-1/2 Men, pre-Kutcher, 8.5/10.
Anything else is hit-or-miss for me, I watch a lot of news, some reality stuff, TV court shows, more dross. After Highlander and ST/TNG went away, it was hard to stay interested in 'the latest'.

Top Gear 9/10. NCIS 8.5/10 (but addictive). The Defenders with Belushi was great fun but cancelled. The absolute number one series I've ever enjoyed on DVD is Enterprise, the Star Trek spin off.

In order of watching:
Breaking Bad - ranging from 9.5 to 11/10
Game of Thrones - 9 to 9.5/10
Awake - 8.5 to 10/10
Treme - 9 to 10/10
BB just blew my mind; I'd never realised telly could be that good. The rare criticisms I have for it are mere nitpicks. I say 11/10 because it redefined 10 for me, so 8.5 to 10/10 to compare to the other scores.
GoT is basically just as good in its own way, but loses half a point from me because IMO it has less to say, of less relevance.
Damn shame NBC axed Awake after only a season, thankfully the finale ties it all up fairly nicely. A cop show with surprises, no less.
Treme just bloody well rocks.
Folks still complain about the Hollywood blockbuster syndrome killing interesting movies, but these days we have no shortage of extra good quality telly, intelligently written stuff with the production values of a big-budget movie (minus the marketing and merchandise).
For some sort of reference point to my scores, I love Top Gear, I belong to the group it's ostensibly aimed at (ie I'm interested in cars), but I can only give it 6.5 to 9/10.
At the other end of the scale, something like Australia's Funniest Home Videos for instance (I have to extrapolate from what little I've been forced to suffer through), I'd rate -5 to 2/10. Zero being the point where I'm not enjoying a single thing about the experience, and -5 being the point at which I have to fight an urge to destroy the telly with the nearest suitably heavy object. -10 means death or injury for anyone attempting to prevent my escape.

Mad men 0/10 _ received the DVD's for xmas. I actually got so pissed off at that show I threw the discs into the street.
Walking dead; season 1 5/10, ever since 0/10. became a soap opera.
Breaking bad 10/10 I am foaming at the mouth for the new season!

I saw the premier of Last Resort last week. It was pretty good but it will be interesting to see how a the storyline can be sustained.

The Walking Dead premier last night was great.
*************Spoiler Alert******
Could've done without the graphic Herschel scene though. Funny how I don't blink at all the gruesome zombie kills but that one grossed me out.

First three episodes of Walking Dead's first season. 6/10. Not as much fun as Zombieland, or even Buffy.

I have been watching Doctor Who most of my life. I still love it and the new ones are awesome. I can rate it, but my ratings are highly prejudiced. 5/5 of course.
