1000km across beautiful Poland to support hospices: 25 June - 3 July 2016
1000km charity bike ride along a beautiful mountain route from Wroclaw, the European Capital of Culture 2016, to historic Kraków. Raise funds to support terminally ill patients and visit hospices to deliver equipment and see the impact of your fundraising first hand. The ride is run entirely by volunteers, so all funds raised provide vital medical equipment for Polish hospices. Join us in 2016 for a great adventure!

You can find more information and a registration form at www.alinafoundation.org/cycle-poland-2016.html. If you have any questions, please email info@alinafoundation.org. For those new to cycling, or who want to train with others, we run a full programme of UK based training rides before the trip. Come join us on a unique bike trip through a beautiful country, and make a real difference! Please note that unlike some charity rides - this ride is organised entirely on a non-profit basis. Payments from cyclists cover only the costs of the ride - any excess, together with funds raised by cyclists, is donated to the Alina Foundation, a UK registered charity (charity no. 1137887) to buy equipment to support Polish hospices. During the ride participants hand over equipment purchased with the funds raised, and get to see the charity's impact first hand. The charity has no paid staff and all overhead costs are met by the Trustees. This really is a charity ride! |
Good luck with the ride.
