Here at Pedal Forward, we build sustainable bamboo bicycles while supporting global transportation needs. We recently launched a Kickstarter to begin full-scale production in New York City. We will be teaming with the non-profit organization Back on My Feet, who help provide employment and independent living for New York City’s homeless population. Pedal Forward’s founders were the winners of the 2012 Clinton Global Initiative University Commitment Challenge, and were recently recognized by The White House as Global Emerging Entrepreneurs. The company was also just featured on the front page of Metro New York newspaper. Right now, we are at about 69% of our goal, with 11 days left. This Kickstarter is the minimum amount we need to begin production at a larger, efficient, and more effective scale.
