The Ride to Conquer Cancer - Can you help
Mods if this isn't allowed please delete with my apologies.
I'm participating in the Ride to Conquer Cancer. A 200 mile ride from Toronto to Niagara Falls Ontario on June 12 & 13th, benefiting the Princess Margret Hospital for cancer research.
My plan was to just pay the $2500 minimum that is required so I could join the ride. Unfortunately on April 30th 2010 my Mom passed away from lung/bone cancer and after my brother and I payed for the funeral, flowers, internment, etc I have about $500 that I can afford to put towards the ride... I'm tapped.
I've email blasted everyone I know today and if anyone here could find it in your heart to give as much/little as you can that would be fantastic.
I know this must sound like some BS story, that's what I'd think so here's a link to my Mom's obituary.
https://yourlifemoments.ca/sitepages/...asp?oId=388355
and the most important link... to where you can donate to my ride.
https://www.conquercancer.ca/site/TR/...nal&fr_id=1311
Thanks in advance
Rob

They shouldn't delete it, its a road ride, and your not asking or begging for anything your just giving people an option. Have a fun and productive ride!

Welcome to Bike Forums, Rob.
We do have a dedicated forum for charity rides, which is where I'm moving this thread (from Road Cycling).
