Seeking Sponsors for Livestrong Challenge, Davis, in Honor of my Brother
 

Greetings, all. I've registered to ride the Livestrong Challenge century in Davis, CA this July. It will be my first century ride. I chose this event because my older brother, Michael, has terminal cancer (oncologist recently estimated 2-5 months.) His illness has brought cancer "close to home" for me and helped me realize what a random, fatal, and expensive disease cancer commonly is.

No donation is too small (or large :)) and all proceeds are for cancer research and treatment (according to the Livestrong information I have reviewed.) I'll match all donations, dollar for dollar, up to my $1,000 goal.
