I know there are a lot of people on here looking for people to donate to a good cause. There are certainly a lot of good causes. My chosen cause is Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. My choosing LLS is not simply because I'm a survivor of non-hodgkin's lymphoma but because the research LLS sponsors gave me a few extra months with my dad when he was fighting leukemia and their helping my dad afford his copays when he was no longer able to work. Afterwards, LLS helped take care of my father's medical bills in a time when my mom was still suffering greatly from the loss. Today, I'm giving something back to an organization that gave me and my family so much.

I'll be riding the Seagull Century on October 15th as part of Team in Training. I'm just under $300 from my personal goal of raising $2600 by September 30th.
