Donations for Cops For Cancer - Tour de Coast 2012
Hello,
This coming September 19th -27th 2012, I will be participating in the Cops for Cancer - Tour de Coast. It is the first time I will be riding in this event and I am very excited. It is a strategic partnership between law enforcement, emergency services personnel and the Canadian Cancer Society. Our main goal is to raise funds for pediatric cancer research, programs and services for children living with cancer such as Camp Goodtimes (www.campgoodtimes.org) and financial assistance for children and families living with cancer.
Over the course of 9 days, myself along with a team of other law enforcement officers and emergency services personnel will cycle approximately 900 km through the Sea to Sky corridor as well as the Sunshine Coast, North Shore and cities in Greater Vancouver from Maple Ridge to Richmond. We will be visiting many local schools and businesses to raise money, as well as awareness for pediatric cancer research and support programs.
Each rider has been set a goal of raising $6000. With your support you can help me reach my goal of $6000 which will help children and families across British Columbia.
You can make a difference in the lives of children with cancer. Join the fight by supporting my fundraising efforts. It's easier than ever—just click the link at the bottom of this message for more information or to donate: Follow This Link to visit my personal web page and help me in my efforts to support Canadian Cancer Society - BC and Yukon Division

P.S. - Any support, whether big or small, monetary or just moral support, is greatly appreciated. This is my first season riding a road bike and I have learned alot from reading post on this site. I signed up for this event as I felt that it is a great way for me to give back to the community that I live in, get in shape, and enjoy cycling. Thank you all for taking the time to read this post.
