Out fishing with Annie on his lap, a cigar in one hand and a ginger ale in the other, watching the sunset.

Each day, wounded warriors face the battle of connecting back into their community and engaging in healthy opportunities that enhance confidence and provide mentorship. Through the environment of team-based endurance athletics, this can become possible. As a community, we owe our returning veterans all the support they can receive.
It is with great pleasure that I share with you the 2013 Promises To Keep Triumph Tour.
The Promises To Keep Triumph Tour is three-day cycling/running event connecting the communities of Madison, Milwaukee and Northeast Wisconsin with a goal to create state-wide, unifying campaign for wounded warriors and grateful citizens to come together in honor and service. The event will support myTEAM TRIUMPH, an athletic mentoring program for challenged athletes and Team RWB.
Each day of the event would incorporate a group bike ride, followed by an organized 5K fun run in each of the three locations.
Up to 200 able-bodied and challenged athletes (veterans and citizens) will have the opportunity to join a bicycling tour in a supported group formation (with a military or motorcycle escort) through the scenic roads of Wisconsin.
Cyclists have the option to take on one, two or all three of the tour legs. This cycling tour will be fully supported. Cyclists completing the entire tour, thereby covering nearly 350 miles over the entire weekend will receive food/lodging benefits, swag, a custom jersey and custom Survival Strap and more.
