Tour de Cure Phoenix - Not asking for donations, just wanted to share.
Not asking for donations just wanted to share. I decided last minute to ride the TdC Phoenix. I really wanted to do it this year, but originally thought my daughters State Championships would be the same day. I found out Saturday that the two events do not conflict so I signed up! I REALLY wanted to do the 100mi ride, but none of my co-workers or friends are doing it. So I am doing 75mi, so I can ride with them.
I will have to get my first century checked off my list at a later date. I just started riding in November, and this is my first event. I have VERY excited! I am going to borrow a GoPro from a friend and try to get some good pics and videos of my journey!

Bikes: One brand-less build-up, and a Connondale Synapse Carbon Ultegra Disc. A nicer bike than I need, but it was a good deal, so... ;-)

Check with the organizers about the route. Sometimes the 75 and 100 mile routes overlap enough that you can do your century AND ride with your friends, if they're willing to chill out for a bit.
