2007 Fuji Team Superlite 56cm - $500
Hi,
I'm still looking for a commuter. Is this in the ballpark of a fair price for this bike? It's been difficult to find any information on this bike the way it's listed on CL

It's ok for $500 but with carbon fiber bars, Ali/carbon frame it's a tight race geometry. Most commuters want fatter tires, racks and fenders, which don't fit this bike.

Still learning
You might post this elsewhere on the site for more opinions, as an 8 year old bike is hardly classic or vintage.

I don't know the relative premium for used bikes around there, but I'd take it if I were interested in such a bike. (Of course I'd try to haggle it down $100). It's about the level of a $1,000 new bike now with technology changed and such.
But it doesn't seem to be the bike you're interested in. It's certainly not a commuter. This is ideally a bike for someone who wants a sport bike that only carries them, and only carries them back to where they started. A workout and perhaps with a group-ride.

I'm in the same market as you, OP.
Why not look at rigid-framed mountain bike with slick tires as a commuter? There are so many of them available in the DC area. How long will your commute be? What gear do you plan to carry, and how?
Will you ride in the rain? These are all questions that should factor into the choice of a commuter bike. PG
