Is this Pogliaghi frame worth $350?

Not sure if this Pogliaghi frame is worth putting a fair amount of money in to it to build it up.
The seller says that it is a mid to late 80's according to the serial number. The research that I did indicated that it was built by the Basso Bros.
Attached a pic. Thanks for any input.

Welcome to the Forums...

While I am not expert on Pogliaghi's...that looks quite nice...and I think that would, generally, be a good price...would need to know a bit more...tubing? etc....

I would like to see better pics and info on the frame tubing. Due the appearance of a pump peg, dual bottle mounts and under BB cable routing I would guess this is a '85/86 or later frame. The chrome looks a little rough to me but it may be dirty. It would be nice to have better pics especially of the driver side.

With the information provided I would say simply based on the name and following $250ish

Price is about right, especially if the headset and BB are good. Has a braze-on for the front derailleur, which usually denotes a better quality frame. Definitely of an era.

But OMG, that paint job! Whatever it's worth, it's worth a lot less if you don't like the graphics.

You just don't have the late 80's-90's aesthetic.
I think this frame set is after Pogliaghi had left the building.
For the price, and if it fits, why not?
Examine the chrome, Italian chrome is very variable, so be sure you can tolerate what it has.
This is not one of the frames that will outperform the broad market value wise.

Interesting frame set with the headset and BB I would say the price is fair. This is one of those late 80's semi custom paint jobs that if a buyer really likes it it's a $400+ value if they don't its $250 value.

Thanks for all the great input everyone. Didn't know by the pictures it was a record bb and headset. After reading everyone's input, it's worth about $300 to me.

That's probably about right. In general I value out sourced Italian framesets in the $275 range based on condition. It's a crap shoot with the BB and headset, you could open them up and find the races to be pitted. That recently happened to me, both the SR headset and SR seat post were toast, I'll be lucky to salvage the seat post hardware and maybe a few bits from the headset.

What kind of tubeset it has will spot the price most accurately. Aelle or Tretubi tube = around 250 bucks. SL = around 350 max. SLX = at least 400, and maybe higher to some Pogliaghi fans......
