1989 Bridgestone Radac

I am very intrigued by this aluminum Bridgestone from 1989. It's a great looking machine but only has a few of the original Dura Ace parts left on it. It's a large one but I think I can manage a 34" standover just fine.

I'm not sure I can even get spousal approval on adding another bike at this point but I keep on looking at this ad. It's been posted for about a week now and it's still there. Listed at $275 which I'll assume is too high since no one has grabbed it yet. Opinions on what a good deal is on this one?.

I'm having a hard time deciding whether the asking price is high. I've never seen one come up for sale locally, so nothing to compare to. It is a pretty frame, but I'd ask about the fork. The catalog shows silver-colored aluminum, not black. Might be a replacement, if so, it begs the question why?

Glued frames are a major turn-off for some and that might have scared some folks off.

I am not sure either, but it does not seem unreasonable for a price - even if its just because it is so pretty to look at.

here are some more- just to compare what people are asking for..

TD: Nice catch on those forks.
JB: Thanks for the comps. Makes this look like a pretty good deal for sure.

Maybe someone from SE TX will see this, buy it and put me out of my misery Until then, I'll let it decline in CL value and probably pick it up toward the end of the month if it's still around.

If it had full Dura Ace and not a mix, yes. If it had the original fork, yes. Since both of those are not the case I think the price is too high.

+1 I think with the original DA stuff and fork or a nice carbon fork it would be worth more than the asking price. With the mix of components and what looks like a cheaper replacement fork it has the feel of a bike that has been heavily ridden or crashed and rebuilt. I say pass I wouldn't trust the larger bonded frame.
