CCM Something Or Other..?

Got lucky at a yard sale, yesterday. A fellow gave me this old CCM double top tube for free, not to mention another item, or two...

Does anyone have any idea of model and/or vintage? Thanks.

The serial number, on the left side of the seat tube lug, is 2E 2083. Does that help with vintage identification? I am pretty sure it is post 1937.
