Please value and Identify My Vintage Rossin Bike
Hello,
I got this bike from a friend and I knew it was an old gem as soon as I saw it. It has all original parts except handle bars w/post and seat. All Campy everywhere. ( Brakes, hubs, derailers, cranks ) Rossin had so much style even back when this thing was manufactured. I have no reference of what year it is, or model. I believe it to be an early 80's C record Bike. Any help on an estimated year, make model and value would be greatly appreciated.

Components look to be a mix of mid level Campy Victory and 980 gruppos. Only the seatpost might be upper level.
If the components came originally with the bike, it might mean it has a mid level frameset too, possibly, built with Aelle or Tretubi Columbus tubesets, but also possibly with Columbus SL at best.
Don't worry if it us an Aelle or Tretubi frameset, as it should ride really nicely. Only penalty is a slightly higher weight, compared to SL or SLX frameset. Maybe half a pound to a pound at most.

it's an interesting mid-level bike you don't often see. if fully overhauled with good looking bar tape and appropriate pedals, i'd say somewhere around $550 in a big market. but, as is, like $400 or less.
to the right buyer, it may be worth more. marketing is (almost) everything.
