Nishiki Medalist worth?
How much would you pay for Nishiki Medalist large frame bike? The guy selling it asking for $200.
Comes with 10 speed and new tires. Looks like in medium condition.

You'll probably get more responses once you add the pics. Get all the important areas...
Edit: It depends what you want it for. If you're into that type of thing, and restoration, and you really want that specific bike, $200 is worth it. If you just want something to ride, that things is going to take some work. IMO, $200 should get you something rideable from the get go if that's your only consideration. I don't know anything about classic or vintage frames of course -- I'd probably pass on buying some classic $10k frame for $500 if it looked a little beat up because I would have no idea, so take my opinion with a grain of salt.

This isn't a Medallist, it's an International, circa 1978-1982.

+1 79/80 International considering the slightly rough shape with some replacement components the price seems a bit high. These tend to go for $250 or so in very nice ready to ride condition with new consumables. This one needs a complete overhaul ,cables, tires, bartape and likely new chain freewheel, and pedals..

I tried it last night. Seemed to run pretty smooth. But had rust in some parts. Also the frame seemed a little too big for me. I am 6'0". I am looking at a Raleigh Technium 440 ($120) tonight.
