Concorde Colombo with Campagnolo Athena gruppo? worth?

Got this vintage Concorde in a garage sale today for about 120$ usd. Its in good shape overall.. though the paint has seen some mileage. It has Campagnolo Athena gruppo and pink clipless pedals, colombus aelle.. I am almost thinking about swaping the gruppo (or just the brakes/crank) on my cramerotti which has campy record derailleurs and campy rims, but the rest is a mix of other brands.. what do you think would be the best option? Leaving the complete gruppo on the bike and trying to sell it, or swaping parts with my cramerotti? I would also appreciate if you guys had some info about the year and some general details! ps.. i havent put new tires, tape and saddle yet but I will.

And this is my cramerotti

This is very similar to the Cilo you posted. Again, the frame is only tretubi Aelle, so the stays and forks are probably hi-tensile steel. The Athena group appears to have the standard calipers, as opposed to the later monoplanar calipers, so it should be circa 1989-1993. Circa 1990 Athena was 4th in the Camapgnolo hierarchy. Still, the Athena would be more attractive to potential buyers and in ready to ride I'd put FMV at about $350-$375 CDN.

You could also buy this model with Shimano 600 Ultegra which doesn't have the panache of the Athena but was a better overall performer. I hope that is just dirt and not a crack on where the non-drive side dropout joins the chainstay. I'd sell it as is, rather than doing the swap.

That's a great find!

I have Athena on my '89 Bianchi and it looks good and functions well. After all the horror stories of Synchro II shifters, mine shift flawlessly on a Sachs 7 speed freewheel and SRAM chain. eBay prices on gruppo, I'd say usd $200-250 without the wheels, and a guess for the frame about $200.

It wasnt even for sale! I just saw an old bike on the ceiling of their garage and asked about it.. the guy had parkinson so couldnt use it anymore and it was in ****ty condition.. about 2-3 mm of wood dust on everything, tires, tape and saddle were riped and dirty.. He said he didnt want to sell it and that he paid 1100$ cnd 20 years ago. He wanted 300 cad but finally got it for 160 $. Still going to need to put a few bucks into it but im pretty stocked about it.
