Waterford 1200 Valuation
I need to sell my Waterford and would like help setting a price.
It's a 1996 that came to me used, mostly as shown in the pictures. The fork must have been replaced at some time, it's carbon I think. The bike has a mix of components. Bars, seatpost, and stem were my additions.

Thats a really nice mix of components and 753 frame tubing, and all of it looks to be in solid shape. The only downside, to me, is the pockmarks in the paint.
I would want something like $900 for it. No idea if thats extreme or not, but I dont think it should be. Heck, maybe thats undervaluing it...but iits a paint chipped 20 year old bike. When I think of what $900 would get me at a shop, there is no comparison that the Waterford would be the better buy.
If you cant even get $500 for it(thatd be a shock), I would think parting it out would net more.
As for the fork- that sure looks to be steel and original. Typically, carbon fork blades are much thicker, and replacement forks are typically black or chrome(unless Waterford sent a color specific replacement to the previous owner).
