Lenton Sport Robin Hood by Raleigh 10 speed

Just Found this today and was wondering before I start to clean it up if it's worth it? What year, Value and any other info you might know about it. I have seen several other gold ones but not a blue one searching the web. Also lots of 3 speeds but not many 10 speeds in brand so any info before I start to restore it would be great ...also check out the seat and badge on this bike...luv it! Thanks in advance for any help, advice or info on it!

Early to mid seventies, not much value but a good rider once you lube and adjust everything. Brooks are always nice to see. Bike looks to be in good condition.

I say clean it then ride it.

This is a bike that I would buy. Cleaned and sorted it would be a sturdy and attractive bike. The fact that it is less common than its Raleigh cousins adds interest as well. When we minimize the values of solid old bikes, we often sentence them to the scrap bin. An example; Raleigh DL-1 are heavy tall and to a degree awkward yet bring hundreds of dollars. This bike will likely ride nicer and be much lighter and it too is made of Hi-Ten steel. Lets keep the "All Steel Bikes" on the road. I have a very clean example of a Robin Hood Sports and it gets lots of attention. Good luck with whatever you decide.

Check out prices for Robin Hood head badges, couple online $35 each. Not suggesting you part the bike out but if you did it's a neat badge that's popular. Add that to the seat. Don't know the rims or if they are ok but people need rims. I'd keep it like browngw, but your call.....
