In general I think the value lies in potential sentimental value to anyone for whom a Nishiki was their first road bike and then it would have to be in great shape and the right size. Problem is, potential sentimentalists are taking up other sports or dying off...

If it's an 83 then, it's probably made in Japan. (Take a little off if it's made in Taiwan). Condition, condition, condition. If the wheels spin true & the frame is straight then, it's worth at least $100. If it's in tip top like new condition with all new parts then, $300.
