Mid 80'3 Peugoet Iseran P6
Does this have any real value other than enjoying riding it? Should I restore it or just enjoy it for what it is?

No really valuable, too common, but a nice rider. Middle-level all around bike, not real light. I’m guessing $150 or so.
I had either this one or a P8 or something in red and it was, as many people have said, a very pleasant bike to ride. Not light, but that 103 Carbolite typically gives a nice smooth ride, and yours has a classic color & graphics scheme imho & looks like it’s in [edit] good shape.

Love the name, it's named after the highest paved pass in the Alps: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Col_de_l'Iseran
A name like that has gotta be worth something.

Bad example
Yes, not worth much. I bought my (very similar) Corbier for $80, but like I said in my comment to your other post, the Carbolite Peugeots have such a nice ride that it is worth keeping them and putting a little $ into them. I use my Corbier now as my main shopping and errands bike, but it is also great for simply riding.

It's a 1986 entry level model, 2nd from the bottom of the racing/sport lineup. They were a decent bicycle for their price point but nothing rare or special.

Peugeot Iseran - the name
If you're a mountain route fan, check out the Col de la Bonnette - it's even higher than l'Isèran. :0)
