Low end, $50 bike here. Add whatever premium for CA you are comfortable with. Sold a much nicer Centurion Lemans 12 Mixte last week for $150. Twice the bike.
high ten steel frame, steel rims, bottom end dérailleurs, etc. New fork = inspect carefully. It’s not like a fork gets lost.
+10 to below, what does $200 gets in your area? The fact you get more bike where I live doesn't really matter.

Price is reasonable given location and new items. The frame is butted Valite 414, a little better than Hi-tensile. The original fork was Hi-tensile but the chrome one might be better. It also has added fenders, a nice plus for a city bike.
Where can you get an equivalent for $200 in your area? That is the real question to me.

With the new tubes, tires, chain, etc. it looks like a fair deal at $200 to me. There's a good reason so many old Fuji bikes are still around. They were very well made items. Not a low end bike as wrk101 claims. Although these bikes were mass produced, they were exceptionally good values for the price back in the day.

Contrary to the above opinion, it is low end. Worth less than an equivalent Raleigh IMHO, but rare to find a Raleigh as clean. However it is very low miles and clean, so maybe $140-$175.

I would say nice condition but lower end bike. The stem and fork are replacements that just don't seem quit right I would pass.

I agree that the average 80's model Fuji bike was mass produced and, relatively inexpensive. But, to call them low end is just ignorant. Low end is an expression most of us would use to describe junk bikes like what Sears & JC Penny were pushing out the door back then. I would consider an 83 model Fuji Berkeley to be a good value entry level bike. Why would someone even bother to keep it for 35 years if it's just a low end bike?
