Early 90's c-dale Black Lightning - value

What is the market for a early 90's c-dale Black Lightning. I have one that is collecting dust and probably will not see much action due to all the other bikes. It is a sweet ride and still stock.

Don't want to give it away but need to determine a fair price.

Cheers,

ALF

Depends on where you are selling. One here in St Louis went for $350. Probably higher elsewhere.

I have seen them from $200 on up, depending on condition, ready to ride, etc. Cannondales in general do pretty good in the used market.

Without pics, I would not guess on the condition.

They also had one back in the 80s; saw one with the Campy 50th anniversary gruppo (gold anodized); that one would be worth some $$$ now.

+1, That has my vote. To go to $300 will require someone looking for that exact bike in that exact size living in your area. You can try for more than $200 if it's in excellent condition and needs no repairs tires, etc.

Obviously not your Black Lightning but an interesting exchange of opinions....:D:D

Cannondale Black Lightning Road Bike - $900 (Downtown)

Circumstances make me have to part with my Cannondale Black Lightning. It features a 57cm 3.0 aluminum frame, Colnago/Time carbon fiber forks, Mavic Aksium Race front wheel, Araya CTL-370 rear wheel, Suntour Edge groupo, Vittoria Zaffino front tire, Michelin Krylion Carbon rear tire, Shimano SPD Clipless pedals, Syncros aluminum stem, Nitto drop bars, Look carbon fiber seat post, Titanium Selle Italia Flite saddle.

A head turner for sure. Does have dings and normal wear and tear but no major flaws. A genuinely rare and beautiful bicycle. E-mail me any questions I may not know the answer off hand, I can also e-mail additional pics as needed.
