Peugeot PL40

Well, I rode the bike all week and find it too small when compared to my tall triumph which is my regular commuter bike. This Peugeot needs new cables and tires but otherwise everything is stock.

typical entry steel frame
stainless steel fenders
original working lights
rigida 650B rims
svelto RD
huret luxe wing nut hubs and shifter
Peugeot brakes
31" standover

Any idea what $ amt i should put on CL

I posted a thumbnail in the saved from the dump thread about 2 weeks ago....Copper/orange peugeot.

If your happy with $80 take. As nice as your bike is there it has a limited market.

She declined due to the bike being too big for her. I'll try to make time to post it this weekend on ebay for local pick up only.

Be careful with the ebay local pickup only. Thats where I find my best deal, as it cuts out 99% of the bidders. You are really better off IMHO with Craigs List. If you are going to sell bikes on ebay, you need to be willing and ABLE to safely package and ship a bike.

For example, I picked up a nice Univega off ebay for $21, local pickup only. And it was in Atlanta. The seller would have done a lot better than that on C/L.

Good luck either way!
