1985 schwinn super letour

ok someone posted this bike locally. as i said in the title its an '85 super letour (my own dating, he didnt know very much about it). the first year they used columbus tubing on the super letour. 12 speed with suntour cyclone derailleurs. https://www.trfindley.com/flschwinn_1...985Ltwt31.html spec list. the bike looks to be in moderate shape, a little dirty with some small signs of rust in areas. hes asking 120 what do you guys and gals think?

I'd say it is an OK deal if it is in nice condition and doesn't need much to make it a rider.

I wouldn't pay that much for a bike to flip.

I'd probably offer the seller $75.

yeah im not going to buy it as its too small for me. the guy asked if it was priced correctly, and the columbus tubing schwinns from the 80's always intrigue me for some reason. i got curious. thanks for the reply.

I have seen very similar bikes on the Portland market go for in the $300's and up sometimes. I think those bikes are awesome as well. I would probably pay that much if it was the correct fit.

A mid-80's Super LeTour is a really nice frame. If you were buying a keeper, I'd up the offer to $100. But since it's not your size and your talking a flipper, I'd pass. Still, that's a nice bike. Around here a $120 Super LeTour with a Columbus frame would not last more than a day.
