Craigslist Peugeot...a good deal for me?

Anyone have an idea of the model of this bike, and if it would be worth the asking price of $100? I'm set to go look at it in a couple hours, and was wondering if there was any info I could take along..

Thanks!

Seems like a pretty good price. As long as the bike is in full working order, I'd buy it. In fact, I had one just like it a month ago:

I'm gonna take a stab at the date and model and say it's a 1984 P8 in Burgandy, just like mine.

If the size is right for you,I think 100bux is a fair price (I would buy it) ! as for the model, too newish for me to know but i think it,s maybe early 80,s look,s to have been built up rather than a "Production" altho I stand to be corrected !

This looks very similar to my 1984 P8, except that mine doesn't have fork lugs. Looks like it's got the original Sachs Huret front derailleur; I don't know anything about the rear one. $100 would be a fair price where I live. I really love mine -- can't offer a rational analysis of why, but it just feels good.

The only specific thing I can think of that you might check on this bike (besides all the normal things you'd check on any bike): on the pedals, the little round shafts that connect the front and rear plates to the middle of the axle are spot-welded and sometimes come loose.
