1971 Raleigh Twenty - like new condition

Hello all,
This is my first post. I have acquired a 1971 Raleigh Twenty folder. It is near new condition and I have given it a full overhaul. I understand there is a cult following for the Twenty. I have seen prices from $80 - $300. I am in Toronto, which seems to be a 'vintage bike' hotbed right now, what would be a fair appraisal of this bike?
Thanks in advance.

Not much traffic on here about folders. Your's looks nice, though.

I don't hang out on the folder forum but they may be able to help you establish a value for your bike.

I bought a Twenty also "as new" condition for $30. I live in SK though so maybe your prices will be a bit higher?

$150 should be about right in an average market.

Sheldon Brown's Raleigh Twenty page. Read all about it.

Folders aren't my thing but that is quite a find.

I've seen them go for that much on ebay in perfectly awful condition; and I've seen them go for less, in perfect condition like yours. It's pretty rare to see such a nice one, with the bag preserved and all... I'd start with a considerably higher price, emphasizing the rarity of the find... and be prepared to come down to $150 if necessary.

Are we talking US or Canadian dollars? I would agree that $150 Canadian would be a bargain for a Twenty in nice condition. I'd peg it closer to $150-$175 USD. I've seen them over $200, but those were mint with original pump and racks in tact.
