seeking info on vistas

I found myself a vista coronet bicycle but am have zero luck finding anything out about it. If anyone out there knows anything I would appreciate any info. Thanks

If you use the Search function, limiting your search to the C&V forum and search "titles only", you should bring up some information on the background of this bike brand.
My own recollection of Vista is that they were a direct competitor of Schwinn targeting the lower end of the Schwinn line-up. Their headbadge was designed to look exactly like the older Schwinn badge. I'm not sure if they were sold by department stores but I know they were found in some LBSs. The bikes I saw were heavy, Ashtabula crank models that would compete with a Varsity. They also made upright handlebar models. The search indicates they made a few mid-level models, but I've not seen much activity with that brand so they must not have produced many of their better bikes.
