Children's vintage Schwinn

This isn't one that would be worth a whole lot of money, is it? I know the old Stingray's are worth a good amount of money.

I would doubt it. Girls bikes tend to sell for less than boys bikes do.

The Stingrays that tend to bring the bigger money are the 5 speed Krate models and Fastback models.

$60 is a fair price for what looks to be a nice example.

Girls Schwinn's in todays world are great donor bikes for boy's frames. With the exception that the rear rim is wrong, its 20 x 1.3/4 not 20 x 2.125 bead seat diameter is different and width.
But often the girls bikes lived easier lives and are not as rusted, scraped up.

If t was local I would buy it to replicate my best pre BMX boom- BMX bike. weld a crossbar about 60% up in the front part of the frame, and a small tube between the two downtubes. Tractor tires, ditch the chainguard, cut off the hoop on the banana seat, place the struts inside, add big fender washers outside No reflectors. "rat trap" pedals. Lighter and stronger than the boy's Sting Ray... Those were the days...

An OK deal.. Are you're buying or selling ? To get 60 for it nice, more than what it cost new.
If you're buying it ? Those bikes weren't very rideable, if your kid wants it and doesn't know better and just wants it just becuzz. I wheeleed those up hill as a kid
