hello, my grandfather recently gave me this bicycle. He said he brought it at my age, which would make it about 1950s. From what he has said, its a claud butler with reynolds 531 frame. Im trying to find out some more information about it, so anything is appreciated.

That's a beautiful bike with some very collectible and valuable bits on it...Chater Lea pedals. Alumite rims. Wow.

You can find out much of what you want to know on this website. They won't give you a value for the bike but you'll find out all the info you'll want to know.

That bike is likely worth a thousand in parts alone. It's a shame the paint and original finish are gone but you could restore it to it's former glory.
