Pinarello Troviso or Montello? Talked to the guy already, he wants 850

I've been in search for a nice italian steel lugged road bike for a month, I need to satisfy my hunger!!!

Also this Bridgeston

What is the better deal?

Anyone in California that has a nice 56-57cm, let me know!

Torelli has Campy Triomphe/Victory components and is over priced at $650. I'd like to know what frame tubing it has to give a better guesstimate. $300-500 depending on the tubing.

Pinarello has New Dura Ace which wasnt introduced untill 1985 (New is almost considered a model and refers to the re-vamped 1985 group versus the condition). Asking price of $850 may be OK if it has Columbus SL or SLX tubing. Its overpriced if it has any other tubing. 1984 is too early for SLX if memory serves me right.

RB-1 is over priced for a bike with cosmeticly rough frame as the ad states.

I agree nice looking bikes but the prices are out there a bit.

It's more expensive out here in California. The Pinarello is worth $800. and maybe $850 is the rims are good, and it checks out in person.

Southern California Craigslist is full of folk who need rent money as their screenplay has not been optioned.

Pinarello is a Montello with the Spumoni paint scheme. Bought mine in 1987 and don't think it was offered until late 1985 or 86.
