Rough value: '77 Motobecane Nobly and '77 Gitane Mixte
Picked these up today for about as many dollars as these bikes have seen miles. Size unseen until I got em, but the mixte is too small for her, and the Nobly is too small for me. How much are they worth roughly?
~1977 Motobecane Nobly w/ Shimano stem shifters I've never seen in my life. More like little joysticks... Huret Allvit's, etc. After a good cleaning of dust, I would say it is in VGC
~1977 Gitane Mixte, white, it has 26" tires, and looks to be about a 47cm frame. very petite.
Both ride well, new tires on both, original seats and grips in great shape. What's the value?
FYI $60 each + shipping to any members that are interested, otherwise they may go to craigslist

+1 Without high quality pictures, I don't really have a clue as to value. It is all about condition. $60 can be cheap, or $60 can be overpriced. I picked up a mixte last year for $4.95, and that was about all it was worth (low end model in deplorable shape). By the time you add shipping cost, $60 will likely be on the high side. I would sell them locally if I were you. Note, if you are going to sell them locally, you are going to need great pictures for Craigs List as well. Pictures sell bikes. I always love buying a bike off C/L with either a crappy picture, or no picture at all. Those are usually the great deals (no competition). Buyers have no imagination. If they can't see it, they usually won't even come look at it.
