Shimano Golden Arrow deraillers

Hi,
Came across these cleaning out my mom's shed last year. I swapped them out for Suntour Cyclone 25 years ago, they've sat in a box since. Any idea of the value. If listed on E-bay, do you think they would generate any interest. Should they be listed together or separate. I've never sold anything online, any advice would be very helpful. Thanks!

That's a hard one... these were the predecessors to 105, so you get a picture about the level. FDs alone of that level do not do well on ebay (brand new modern FDs of higher level go for less that $20 shipped). These are in great shape and you really need to find someone who is doing a golder arrow build to sell them. I'd say about $10-15 for the RD and $5ish for the FD. Sorry...

+1 Save for the next build. They are in awesome shape. I occasionally pick up components like that at the "bay" when they go cheap. Lots of value there for a buyer, not so hot as a seller. But put on a bike, you can get good value out of them.

looks like a well done flip...."rare" seems a little grandiose.........seems a little high; but maybe not in Chicago.....

Hierarchy was Dura-Ace, 600, then Golden Arrow (105) was third in line. Nothing fancy, but good functional stuff. It may be "rare", but It would seem it's not in demand. I agree with Thumpic , that a lot for that bike.

every time I see the word "groupo" (sic), I think of grappa.

Pretensious seller. The italian word is gruppo and the english is component group (heck, 'components' make sense as well). Group set is often used (also as 'groupset'), but that's redundant.

So, when you see "groupo", with an overpriced tag, esp. in conjuction to decent but basic components (e.g. 'Full Suntour Seven Groupo') avoid it like the plague.

I would go ahead and post some pics on ebay to sell these dr's. I had a raleigh that had all the golden arrow stuff except for hubs, and the derailleurs were the worse for wear. I even looked on ebay for replacements and they were going for around $50 - $60. I ended up giving the bike back to the original owner, and yes those derailleurs work just fine. Yours look exceptionally clean, and wouldn't last that long. Shipping them shouldn't be a problem either!
