Value for my Masi?
Not sure if it's old enough to officially qualify as a "classic", but it is steel... I purchased it new in 1997 - serial #97299R, 52cm frame. All original except stem, bars and hoods. Maybe the saddle, can't remember. I have the original quill stem and Campy hoods around somewhere. I wouldn't call it perfect, but it's pretty damn close. Made in Italy, imported by Torelli. Was told when I purchased it that Faliero Masi wasn't actually building the frames at that point, but rather they were being built by a contemporary of his in Italy who's name I don't recall... Campy Chorus 9 spd. group. Campy Vento wheelset (Campy hubs too). Campy seat post. A back injury makes the riding position uncomfortable these days. Time for someone else to enjoy it. Any help with value and best place to advertise it would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Mike

This seems to be a Team 3V built by Mondonico for Masi USA. Not very collectable, but supposed to ride very well. Perhaps worth up to $1000 to the right person.

It is in nice shape it appears, but I think that valuation is probably Market. Made in Italy, but not by the Vigorelli Masi, just made by Italians.
