Can you identify this?
It is my grandad's bike and I restored it, only about 10% of the original parts was replaced. All I know it is named "Julia", and it dates back to 1950's.
Someone?

If you worked on it, you likely know way more than we do. Get some good pics and do a thread on the main C&V page. It's a real beauty!

There's about 2 mm between the front fender and the frame, so - no, it doesn't rub.
I had to restore it, the hadlebars were broken in half, derailerur was broken also, hubs was worn out, brakes were long gone, so when i fixed everything, it was a shame leave it looking like a piece of trash.
Yes, it is not exactly the way it looked, but i managed to keep the general look.

If it is too far gone; sometimes you can only restore the spirit and intent of an object.
My last father-in-law had an ancient John Deere tractor on his place. He turned down almost weekly offers to buy/restore it. His said that his father wore that tractor down and that it finally died within a few feet of where it first plowed; it was absolutely run into the ground. He just thought it was right to let it sit where it was and rest.
