'84 Somec "Air" in excellent condition

I have a potential purchase on the subject bike in my size Columbus SPX, with full SR and Modolo Master Pro brakes. It is in excellent condition. Any ideas on a reasonable cap for pricing?
I've had difficulty linking the photo sources and will try to get some pics.

Based on my awareness of similar quality bicycles, I'd imagine that $800-$1000 would be considered a reasonable price range.

Thoughts?

That sounds about right. Somec's earn bonus points for the schmancy pantographed parts, for which they were justly famous.

I'm somewhat passively/ casually looking for one myself.

Not for me, but for a good friend.

Wants to relive his youth or some similar nonsense.

I think they are very nice bikes, and a $800 price tag with those components would be fine.

By the way, does it fit you?

Based on the Frame size, standover and TT length on the ad, yes. Of course, it would be great to actually throw a leg over it and take it for a spin, but that is not an option on this one.
