GT road bike, what's it worth?
I am trying to sell my old road bike its in good condition for its age mostly rack scratches. Anything helpful i should add or remove? I am trying to get about 400 for it. Thanks for any feed back. Here is the link https://pennstate.craigslist.org/bik/2225946309.html

Lower the stem and raise the seat to give it a more aggressive, racing-bike looks. The wording is kind of messy, I think if you list the components it makes it easier for people to see what they are getting. For what it is worth, I myself think that the bike is overprice by about $200; it will be gone in a day if you ask for $250
new cables
cateye astrale 8 computer
new back tire
shimano m505 pedals

11/12 year old RSX bike = $325 around here. GTs don't get the response that some brands get here.

I would start at $400 in Boston. I bet I would get $350 in the spring for sure...I've sold much less for $300.
Have you had any bites at $425? If not, and you are motivated to sell I say bring it down a few bucks.

Here the demand is pretty high college town(penn state) with 40k kids, not too worried on the price yet. Edited the post with the list which is a good idea got two hits on it tonight.

it still may be tough sell up there is the sticks. from what I understand the 40k kids in State College are more interested in drinking than cycling.
nice looking bike though, I am sort of looking a Triple Triangle frame but in steel.
