Mystery Campagnolo pedals
Hey, I recently picked up some vintage looking Campy pedals for cheap. I was thinking about MAYBE selling them but cant for my life figure out what they are exactly. Heres what I do know for sure. They have "1037 <C>" stamped in the middle top side of the pedal. They also have a metal dustcap, not painted plastic. Other than that they look just like the gran sport, record or superleggero pedals except that they are all silver.
I found this searching through the net, maybe its helpful, scroll down to the "mink blue 1973 professional". http://www.sheldonbrown.com/retroral...fessional.html Any help would be greatly appreciated. Check HiCampy's site. He has some good details about dust caps.

Later in the game Campagnolo went to the plastic caps on these too, but we only really noticed when a guy scraped a pedal and wanted a replacement. If you used a good laminated leather toe strap you would not need two straps per pedal. |
