If you had to guess... Rossi content.

In an attempt to find a cheap alloy wheelset I ended up emailing back and forth with a gentleman attempting to get rid of this frame, he planned on chopping everything off, getting it PC glossy black, never got around to it

Now a little googling leads to some Rossi frames being high-end Italian affairs, Columbus tubing and Campy drop outs. Now this is all I've seen of the bike but it doesn't look exactly high end to my untrained eye.

Any guesses on value?

how bad can it be? it looks like it has nice dropouts with adjuster and eyelets. how much does he want? at least you get an OK looking crank

Those pics don't say "trash" to me. Nor do they say "super high-end." Lugs and seatcluster look pretty nice - fork crown is only so-so. I'd honestly need better pics to say whether or not I'd pay more than $100-150 or so for it.
